ELECTRICITY

Electricity in Argentina operates with 220 volts, 50 Hz. The most commong plug used is the Australian plug which has 2 pins that are flat and slanted at a 45 degree angle.  If it is a grounded plug, it will also have a flat vertical pin at the bottom.  The Europlug style plug with round points may also be found but it has been phased out over the past few years.   We will provide you with adapters when you arrive to Argentina but please make sure that your devices are 110v-220v compatible.  Otherwise, you will need to bring transformers to convert your 110v devices to 220v.
